Aventurine
Aventurine is a member of the quartz group. It is known to have mineral inclusions, usually mica. These inclusions cause a shimmering effect known as aventurescence It can come in several colours including green, blue or red with green being the most popular.
Aventurine is known as the stone of chance or luck and also for having a stabilising effect on the emotions.
