Carnelian

Carnelian is a variety of chalcedony. Its colour ranges from a pale orange to reddish-brown. Its most sought after hues are deep red to red-orange. It was once considered strictly the property of people of high social status. Carnelian is believed to give energy and guard against poverty. Carnelian is believed to help timid speakers become both eloquent and bold.
