Apatite

The name apatite come from the Greek word meaning "to deceive". Due to the many colours and formations in which this stone occurs, it can be confused with other minerals. Apatite is normally a green colour but can also be blue, yellow, reddish-brown, violet, yellow-green, colourless or multicoloured. Apatite is known to stimulate thoughts and ideas and aid focus and concentration. Some say that it encourages love and peace.
Apatite works well with silver and is especially striking next to purple, like an amethyst stone.
