Our Talking Stones set consists of gemstones and stones of different varieties, shapes and textures.

All sets will include a gemstone tower point, a gemstone geode or cluster, and an irregular shaped gemstone.

The remaining stones will be made up of gemstones which may include raw stones, tumbled stones, druzies, cabochons, columns, desert roses, and fossil clusters. You will receive 10 items in total.

Each set comes in a box with a guide for use and information about each of the stones.

Talking Stones is a powerful technique that draws on methods related to Personal Construct Psychology and developed from Crosby's (1993) therapeutic work with adults (Wearmouth, 2004). It utilises stones or similar objects to help individuals articulate their perceptions and perspectives (Wearmouth, 2004).

It is can be used by a variety of professionals  including psychologists, counsellors, therapists, teachers, and educators. It is often used in narrative therapy and is an effective means of promoting communication and self-expression in therapy. 

Our guide provides instructions for use, however, we would recommend training in use of this technique and further reading. This set is curated by an HCPC registered practitioner psychologist (Marie Li Psychology Ltd).

Please note: there is a lead time of 2-3 working days for these sets to be dispatched as they are bespoke. Gemstones will be chosen randomly, however, you can contact us if you have any particular preferences. Due to the natural nature of the gemstones they can vary in colour and markings. They also have inclusions and imperfections.
